Invitation emails will continue to go out through Saturday early afternoon!
Get excited!!! It’s time for our 10-14s club tryouts!!! We are looking forward and ready to IGNITE some awesome players and teams during this great VB club season!!! Tryouts are also used for team placement. We do have cuts, but we try very hard not to cut in our younger age groups considering this may be the first time these players play competitive volleyball. Please click the following link to determine which age group you fall under for your tryout date & time posted below. Please attend the appropriate age group tryout. The registration link will take you to our SportsEngine registration. The tryout fee is $50 plus the SportsEngine processing fee. If you have any technical issues with the registration process or website, please send a text to or call our Website Coordinator at (225) 802-9998. USAV Bayou Region Tryout Membership Link
The USAV Bayou Region Tryout Membership needs to be filled out as well. Scroll down and select “Purchase Membership” and it will bring you to their SportsEngine tryout membership registration. It will cover your child for the tryout session under USAV. The tryout membership fee is $10 and will be taken off the USAV Membership for the season if your child makes a team. ———————————————————————————————————————————————————-
TRYOUT DATES AND TIMES:
Tryout Check-in: 15-30 min before tryouts begin; see exact time below. Doors will open when check-in time begins Orientation: The parent/player meeting will begin at the start of the tryout time. Location: Parkview Baptist High School (5750 Parkview Church Rd. Baton Rouge, LA 70816)
10U & 12U (our 10U teams have players as young as 7 and 8 years old)
Monday, October 6th
Check-in: 6:00-6:20pm
Tryouts: 6:20-7:30pm
13U & 14U
Monday, October 6th
Check-in: 6:00-6:30pm
Tryouts: 6:30-8:30pm
**If a 2nd evaluation is needed for the 13U &/or 14U age group, it will be Tuesday, October 7th from 7:30-9pm at Parkview Baptist School.
MAKE-UP TRYOUTS for 10U, 12U, 13U, and 14U will be: Tuesday, October 7th with check-in from 7:30-7:45pm and tryouts from 7:45-9:00pm at Parkview Baptist School OR Saturday, October 4th with check-in from 9:45-10:00am and tryouts from 10:00-11:30am at Parkview Baptist School. Please follow all instructions with forms to be filled out through the link provided. All procedures will be the same as the main tryouts. Please keep in mind for optimal showcase of the players’ skills and knowledge, it is HIGHLY recommended the player make every effort to attend the original tryout above. The makeup tryout is harder for us to compare your child to other players when placing them with their appropriate skill level.
